WMR - HP Reverb initial setup

I recently picked up an HP Reverb for movie watching and doing some flight games. Elite was one game on my list that I'd been looking at for quite some time, and after watching others play it on the HP Reverb online, I pulled the trigger and bought one.

I am trying to load the game up, and simply cannot however. I have tried launching it from the desktop within mixed reality home (steam library and then choosing Elite Dangerous VR when I go to launch the game), and I have tried launching it from within apps (directly) from within mixed reality home and also have tried launching it directly from within SteamVR. All of these options do the same thing ... it just hangs and opens the game window on my desktop monitor, yet doesn't output anything to my headset other than the game audio. Other games work flawlessly.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you selected HMD in the Elite Dangerous display options?

Also, make sure your Win10 build is on 1909. Microsoft keep making improvements for WMR in each release.
