Woah, Now the exploration servers good?

So aside from all the cases where the servers a in a pickle at the moment, for some unknown reason my game is now utterly hilariously perfect!

What exactly is the "exploration server"?

Kind of like a Victorian era secretary (a gentleman's keeper of secrets) but in the modern era he is employed to search for viewable odious videos of frolics and to serve cool drinks.

It's the latest thing, apparently it's great for tangential things like playing video games.

EDIT: NO OP YOU'RE WRONG

I didn't know they were separate entities. Usually when I think a server is acting up it's because everything is slow, glitchy, or unusual.

The Exploration Server is definitely a separate entity. Up until about 10-15 minutes ago it was , now it's working flawlessly.

I expect that means FDEV know there are issues on the transaction servers and are working to resolve them now.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Back to being flaky again. ;)

Exploration still bugged. I completed a journey of 9500 ly to lagoon nebula. 1000 ly far away from sol i began to experienced random crashs to menu while hyperjumping every 10-15 jumps. Not bloquing but annoying. It kills the feeling.

I had a lot of transaction server related exits to menu last night when travelling from Lagoon to Eagle. Then as I was getting towards my destination, I had increasing troubles with scanning, with scans needing to be repeated 3,4,5 times to acknowledge. So I did what I thought was the sensible thing - flew onwards to my destination, logged out 7,045.14 LY from Achenar and logged out to watch a film with my husband :)

This morning, everything seems better, but I have only had 20 minutes before the reboot to start scanning this star cluster.
