Wolf 359

Not sure if it says more about how much of a geek I am but when I eventually arrived at Wolf359 I was totally expecting to drop out of hyperspace into the middle of a starship graveyard..! :)

Would have been cool if there was a little memorial transmission or something regarding an epic battle fought there 800 years previously. :D

Yeah, was hoping for a debris field of starships but knowing full well there won't be one :D

elite is based on HHGTG not Star Trek - the only proof i need is the "mostly harmless" tag, not to mention the "sirius *cough*cybernetics*cough* corporation"

i did go to wolf 359 though, i was trying to go to sol.

Blimey that was a hairy landing at the end there.!! Hope the guy in the control tower wasn't drinking soup or he'd have been wearing it watching you come at him like that.!!! :eek: :D

LOL yeah... I was actually "not paying attention" when I came through the slot - my phone beeped a new incoming text msg so I was kinda half-reading text and half-flying in ED :)

If you're wanting that sort of experience you should hope that Frontier will add the orbital graveyard in the Tionisla system.

I know I do.

(also play Star Trek Online if you really want that)

Can't wait to jump to Wolf 359 someday. I don't care there's nothing there, my inner geek is calling me there. I did the same thing in Frontier and I got a kick out of it back then too. Have some Rep for the thread title alone ��

All i can say is that there had better be an Ocellus station around the third planet in the Epsilon Eridani system...

Although, slight problem. B5 was decommissioned in 2281 :(

Come to think of it, does anyone else think the Imperial Clipper resembles a certain Anla'Shok cruiser?!
