Wolf-Rayet star in Carina Nebula?

Isn't there supposed to be WR star in the Carina nebula? I can't find anything on the galaxy map. I'm just around there so I thought maybe pop by to see my first WR, but also might be a good I idea come back to bubble soon, I started my expedition last spring so there's probably few bucks in cartography data already :D

WR 22 and WR 25 are not present in this game.

If you want to see a Wolf-Rayet star search for AA-A H systems, apart from some named systems those are the only ones able to contain such stars.

Probably the most interesting WR is in BD+41 4773. It's a one way trip though.

So far I've only named one Wolf-Rayet in the Zunae region. But last night in the Greae Hypa region, I found 2 more. The first had a first discovery tag on it I think, but the commanders name was glitched out so all I could see on the Sys Map was the orange 'First Discovered' but it seemed the rest of the tag was covered up by the Star description. I'm assuming someone else has already tagged it. But the 2nd one was untagged, at least for now, and it wasn't too far away from the other one. Would be nice to get the tag.

I am keeping an eye out for the super exotics on this trip, the Black Holes, AE/BE and WR. But the WR are hard to see until your right up on them it seems. I've already found 50 or so untagged Neutrons so far. Most of those systems don't pay a whole lot, but their still fun to find.

Eta Carinae is supposed to be in the Eta Carina Nebula... but it's not. It's 1000 LYs away.

This is what happens when your "database of bright stars" and "database of nebulae" have different distance estimates, and no-one ever checks to see if specific stars that "belong" in specific nebulae are actually matched up.

I've tagged 2 WR, the first one is Plae AOB AA-A H233, it was on my planned trip to Beagle Point in my 55ly Krait MkII. Because of this star I turned back from near 40kly to sell it. Find this kind of star was on the top of my exploration bucket list. The 2nd is Aishainn AA-A H220 in my 69ly Phantom. This one I found early, when search on the galaxy map, just waited to start when the Phantom release. All of the fully engineered modules waited in my store. It was the must have ship in my career. I just hoped this star is still untagged. It was. :)

Once you start jumping from AA-A H to AA-A H you'll realize that WR are rare, but not as rare as randomly jumping around indicates. So far I've seen more than 140 WR stars and most of them were undiscovered.

Finding an untagged WR is quite difficult. There aren't many to begin with and those that are in the vicinity of heavily explored areas (such as those that DW2 will pass through) are most likely already tagged. I was lucky I found one in the core that was still untagged.
But yeah, scrolling through AA-A systems will give you the best chances.
Don't know about their likelyness as secondary stars tho.
