Wonky landing graphics

Hi there,

I was trying to land on Merope 5 c and also J-UC B21 near a barnacle and when I would get within a 1000 meters or so of the ground it would disappear and I would see stars and the landscape would be shredded. Also I could not find a place to land anywhere near the barnacle even in places that looked a bit flat. ( I had to go far far away to land.)

1. What can you tell me about the landscape shredding tearing and is there a way to fix this? Is it an in game thing or a graphics thing or what?

2. Is there a barnacle location anywhere that one can land near to it?

Never experienced anything like this. Maybe try to check your drivers version and play with the pre-rendering slider a little?

Here is a screen shot of how the landscape disappears in blocks and you can see the stars.

There is a frame work at the ground surface level that shows up also.

It's not happened to me so maybe do the usual and update your graphics drivers.

You could also try setting the game graphics settings to low just to see if there is a difference.
