Work zones per staff type

First post on these forums. Was heavily into PlanCo and now obvisoulsy Planet Zoo.
I have the same problem now I had then as well though: it's difficult to see which work zones are covered by which staff.

If I have all my buildings "in this work zone" or "in another work zone" that's already a nice bit of information.
Of course, though, for efficiency reasons I don't assign staff the same workplace. Mechanics don't always need to be the same places caretakers need to be.

That's where the workzone problem comes in, the current visualisationdoesn't tell me anything about the fact that they might have 3 keepers assigned to it but no caretakers at all.

Anyone else shares this annoyance and/or has a good way of tackling this?
 
I write the staff-type into the work area name to help keep track of this. (Eg, Keeper/Vet east side or Mechanic Water/Power). On work area page you can expand each option to see what staff is assigned to what area.

But yea some more QoL improvements here would be nice; however personally I think there are some other more negative-game-affecting issues they need to work on first. But you aren't wrong!
 
I would love to have a feature were you could assign a work zone to staff type and then see color coding by building for just that type of staff. for example I have a enclosure that has a mechanic assign in mechanic zone 4. so the enclosure shows up as being in a zone. but without going through all my keeper zones I don't know if it is in a keeper zone or not yet. Some more tools for organizing staff and making zones per staff type that are completely separate would be nice.
 
I tend to divide my zoos into quarters (North, South, East, West) and make those larger workzones for the mechanics, security guards, and vets, to cover all bases. Zookeepers I assign to habitats as I build them (with the accompanying keeper huts).

Caretakers and vendors are a bit trickier to keep track of, though.
