Working aquariums!

It’s royalty-free footage from Pexels
Just googled the Site in the Hope to find Clown Fish Footage that fits for the Exhibit and even though I'm only on the Site since 5 Minutes, I'm pretty sure that I'll use it a lot
Edit: if it fits I'll only need to learn how to change it at the End so it won't stop so weird. Sadly it seems to be the only Video of this Species on the Site where the Camera is stationary enough to use it for a Tank

Kind of a random test with a random video, but it doesn't look brighter at all.

Ok, weird. I've tested it with a Clown Fish and a Moray Eel and they do both look brighter. I think the Thylacine Video I've used yesterday to test it was also brighter

Maybe it depends on the lighting in the game (indoor/outdoor/weather) or if you use those illuminated screens?

I've used the 1m Screen, then I've decided that the Clown Fish would have a more realistic Size if I would use the Exhibit Sign (I've even changed the Light Color to black). The weird Thing is that Pictures are shown in their normal Brightness

The new custom billboards make me so happy, such a powerful tool. Just placed a billboard in a tank of water with some temple plants, bubble VFX & rocks. Gonna be making a big ol' aquarium soon I reckon. I can't wait to see what some of the really good builders do with the video options.
So what format videos did you use?

I was also thinking of just an animated gif of animal infographics for habitats with multiple species.

In my experience the slowdown in planet zoo comes from the work your CPU has to do with all the guests & animals rather than your graphics card so I would assume not. However, i’ve literally just done what I posted so I have no idea really

I can say from experience of you put in enough pieces it will start to slow down as well — especially if said pieces are climbable.

Can someone please recommend a few good Websites to get good Footage from? Yesterday I've searched for Hours for Alligator Gar Footage but found nothing that works for a Tank, then I've searched for Footage of other Animals but with the same Result

Im not trying to be negative cause this IS cool, but i still really do hope Frontier adds actual fish exhibits at some point. I like having the animals and their stats and to “care” for them in some way

Really hope so too. Either you don't find suitable Footage for the Species you want or if you want something small like Clownfish, you need to use ridiculously small Screens to get the Size right

Yeah, but it will also never be 3d or immersive like that with just a screen, in my opinion

I completely agree, this is fun in the meantime though
