Working As Intended? Cargo and KW Scanner Not Working Together?

Got a good tip from someone about a week back that you can't have the cargo scanner and kill scanner on the same fire button. Is this intended? I thought it was a huge time saver scanning twice in one go.... but turns out I wasn't getting the bounties. So now I have to scan twice.... cargo then KW... which takes way too long.

So, anyone know if this is the plan or if it's going to be fixed. Scanning already takes long enough... having to do it twice, yuk!
 
i have never heard about this bug, so in my case this combo worked. i have got bounties and cargo scans at once
 
I used this combo a while ago, and it worked for me. Make sure they both detect at the same km range. The module information doesn't show km fractions, e.g 3.5km is rounded up to 4KM, but will only scan at 3.5km and below. However the price difference of a +0.5km module is huge for a KWS.
 
Oh, so it works in non-anarchy systems. Not ideal, but something to work with.

Well I doubt that there's an easy way to tell unless you turn in all bounties and start counting on your fingers :)
Typically it should increase the bounty in policed systems, but not always. You should screen cap before the kill, screen cap the "Awarded message" and add up to see if if totaled.

In other words, I doubt that it works correctly, but for sure it doesn't work properly in anarchy systems. I would just not cargo scan at all.
