Working as intended - Seriously??

Ok I posted a thread and a ticket back in December advising that some of the icons seen on the scanner were messed up.

Specifically.

Stations show as ! symbols

USS's show as Suns or Planets


I've just received the following mail from FD today

This is currently working as expected. If you feel strongly that this should be changed then please post on our forums so our developers and designers can take it into consideration for a future update.

Surely USS's should be appearing as ! or even ? Symbols as we don't know what they are. But Stars or Planets?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, that's bothered me before, but not so much that I ticketed it!

I reckon they are place-holder images until they come up with something better.

"Working as intended" means that it isn't a bug, NOT that they consider it to be perfect and final.

I remember a member of FD saying that they are placeholders.
