Working transfer tracks?

So will there ever be transfer tracks? I haven't been keeping up past months is there already update if frontier will/will not add transfer tracks? To add more trains when it gets busy in queue with a working transfer track. Or no update on this at all?

Nothing has been written or said about Transfer Tracks. It'd be a whole new mechanism for the game, so it'd be a high ask, but not without possibility at some point, in perhaps a free Update alongside a Backstage and Maintenance DLC.
