It had text and that text turned into the Workshop on steam. Seems like they are making the preparations to launch alpha 3 soon, and possibly on time (which is strange ofr big games these days haha)
Bit weird that they released workshop before the game...?
Not really. They presumably want there to be some dev content ready and waiting for when people get into the game.Bit weird that they released workshop before the game...?

you can subscribe to any of the workshop items out there and get them ready to use in the game once its loaded. Some pretty cool buildings out there. Not really. They presumably want there to be some dev content ready and waiting for when people get into the game.
The Workshop items look GREAT so far! Hopefully, there will be a manager to help make sure items are properly categorized. I see that a coaster has already made it into the "Building" category.
Ah, Brett. Your trademark sense of humor never ceases to amaze me. Keep up the great work! But there is indeed a building (the station) with the coaster; http://images.akamai.steamuserconte...878/A2B68C3FB7E8F07AC9F8EF4ECF439FC59AE1CF01/ [big grin]
This may be a stupid question, the blueprints we saw in the livestreams are the ones on the workshop? So they aren't pre-loaded in the alpha or do we need to subscribe to them. I just don't want to subscribe to something already in the game and have duplicates
For people who'd rather not use Workshop, we include all the previous alpha parks in the game. Look under the new My Parks tab at the start of the game for all the old parks. We'd like to encourage you to subscribe to them on Workshop and get lots of cool automatic updates as the parks get tweaked over the course of Alpha 3. There's a selection of blueprints included with the game too.
Cheers
