World Conservation Day is July 28th. 1) Think we’ll get a new one-off animal that day? 2) Assuming it’s keeping in the theme of a species in particular need of conservation, what’s your guess as to what it might be?

I dont think we will get any free animal on that particular day. I could see us getting something on the game’s anniversary, but even that is not guaranteed.
As for the free animal itself, it would probably be something that would not require too many changes and something that is based on a base game animal. My pick would be the American Flamingo. It is a bird and it is from SA so that would also boost two currently underepresented categories.

The only precedent for a free animal is the first anniversary. There was a free first anniversary gift in Planet Coaster, and then the anniversary gift we received for Planet Zoo was likely delayed due to Covid and saved for the second anniversary (the black-and-white ruffed lemur). It's unlikely we'll get any free animals ever again, as Planet Coaster didn't get any further free content.
