Greetings fellow explorers, this is the report of my 6 month expedition across the galaxy using an ASP class vessel named WORM. The purpose of the expedition was to add as many POIs as possible to the Galactic Mapping Community Project, and to test my endurance. I will report here my findings under “Exploration” tag, and also report some other moments of interest in already explored areas under “Highlights” section. Since my route has been 180,000 LY long I will divide the expedition in different parts using the Maps made by Erimus in his thread, this is natural to me since I used those maps to navigate all the route. I would note that many things I consider “explored” were already tagged, but since they were not reported or organized in any way I consider their report my contribute to the community.
The outbound route is RED, and so the names of POIs I’ve found/visited outbound
The inbound route is BLUE, and so the names of POIs I’ve found/visited inbound
Note: I’m not much a screenshot one, and please excuse me if I don’t post a screenshot or a video of every POI, that would make the thread infinite. In the Galactic Mapping thread I’ve posted all the screenshots and references have been checked.
The Expedition lasted 6 months, on a 180,000LY route, visiting almost 7000 different systems. I've found 35 ELW that I'm submitting to the ELW list. Upon return I was granted Elite Explorer Rank.
PART 1: ORION SPUR LOCAL REGION
I departed from Daedalus Station in Sol System the 4th July 3301. Initially I just wanted to get some distance and to visit the area around the Lagoon Nebula, thinking that in the Local Region there wasn’t much to explore, but I immidiatly found something interesting:
Exploration:
Thor's Eye
Game map search reference: THOR'S EYE
POI Type: Scientific
Black Hole system situated approx. 250 LYs 'south' of the Lagoon Nebula. Thor's Eye is situated in the middle of an open cluster named NGC 6530 composed mainly by B stars and few A. There's an A white-blue supergiant (HD 164865) and many B that have neutron stars or black holes in the system.
Altough the Thor’s Eye system was already tagged, reported and explored to the bone, the B open cluster surrounding it named NGC 6530 was not reported, and I could spot an A white blue supergiant.
Highlights:
Lagoon Nebula
Trifid Nebula (I found this nebula not to be throughly researched and spent some time here)
Omega Nebula

Map Ref. Point #1
Daughter's Reach
Game map search ref. : ELLAIRB UL-N C7-33
POI Type: Possible Tourism Candidate
Situated approx. 1,000 LYs 'southwest' of the Bleae Aewsy Nebula, this system has a non-terraformable Water World with ammonia type atmosphere, and the very planet itself has a Water World Moon that is terraformable, thus the name.
Map Ref. Point #2
The Norma Southern Gate
Game map search ref. : EODGORSTS GO-F D12-37
POI Type: Scientific
A White Dwarf that marks one of the closest Outer White Dwarf / Neutron Ring points to Sol, 11,500 LYs away.
Bleae Aescs Nebula
Game map search ref. : BLEAE AESCS ZE-A G4
POI Type: Visual & Scientific
A violet coloured nebula that has a black hole embedded within it and is situated within the Outer Neutron Ring, approx. 12,500 LYs from Sol and directly 'west' of the Bleae Aewsy Nebula.
Again, I was not the first to visit this nebula, buti t wasn’t reported, and not extensivly tagged either. I’ve found an untagged ELW inside it.
Map Ref. Point #8
Red Prophecy
Game map search ref. : WHAMBOI KT-F D12-2262
POI Type: Visual & Scientific
This system contains a Red Giant (Red Prophecy) as primary star, and orbiting at 0.83 AU there is an airless High Metal Content World with an airless moon. Several other similar type worlds orbit the Red Giant, making it an interesting location for both SRV tourism and prospecting. Capping off a this interesting system is an Earth-Like World that orbits the secondary star. Any lifeforms on this world are doomed to extinction before they can hope to become a civilization due to Red Prohphecy's evolution to probable supernova.

Exploration
Umbra Centralis Nebula
Game map search ref. : SCHEAU PRAO AA-A H401
POI Type: Visual
This core region dark nebula sits on the very outer edge of the Galactic Bar. The nebula itself doesn't sport any significant object, not having a single non-sequence star, being 1000 LYs away from the Eastern Neutron Field. It provides a beautiful coloured scenario to the billion stars of the core stellar forge.
Map Ref. Point 8 – (This POI is not listed in Galactic Map yet, its curator is actually very busy with the Distant Worlds Expedition, but I’m positive it will eventually make its appearence in the map)

BYOOMEAE DN-B D13-1719, 25,877.58LY from Sol, Core Region
POI type: scientifical
Navigational hazard: none
This Neutron Star system has a secondary L Red Dwarf that hosts 2 ELW. The strange thing is not only that the 2 ELW are way outside the goldilock zone, but they are NOT a binary pair, and are more than 1000LS apart. It is the first case of a multiple ELW system where the ELW are not binary and this far away. Another strange fact is that ALL the other 4 HMC that orbit the Red Dwarf are Terraformable candidates, making all the planets that this very small and cold star has suitable for life. It seems like a sort system engeneering took place here, making me think that our definition of "alien civilization" could be completly wrong. Digressions aside, this system shouldn't exist at all following science, so it deserves better observation.

The Perimeter Nebula
Game map search ref : HYPIO PRAO AA-A H16
POI Type: Visual & Navigational Beacon
This nebula, situated at the very border of the Near 3KPC Arm and outer core regions, some 27,000 LYs from Sol and 8,000 LYs from Sag-A*, is located in a transition zone between high star density sectors and low star density sectors. The Nebula itself does not sport particular systems of interest, and neither any non-sequence stars, laying 500 LYs above the Eastern Lower Neutron Field.
Torment
Game map search ref. : EEMBAIST AA-A H0
POI Type: Region (Navigational Hazard - Medium)
This region is the gap between the Norma and the Sagittarius arms, south of the Dryo Gap. Exiting from the core area, the relative low density of stars makes routes convoluted, and the complex core systems give place to an endless series of M class stars. Traversing this area from the core, or from anywhere else, tests the endurance of the pilots that want to go further.

The Eembaist Torment
Game map search ref. : EEMBAIST AA-A H0

Map Ref. Point #2
The Assairshch Torment
Game map search ref. : ASSAIRSHCH EG-Y G4
POI Type: Scientific
This is a main Black Hole system, and very distant from the Neutron Fields, almost on the ecliptic. The system also sports an Ae/Be and a B class main sequence star, so it has Childhood, Adulthood, and Death all in the same system.
Map Ref. Point #3
The Weqea Torment
Game map search ref. : WEQEA AA-A G0
POI Type: Scientific
This is a very complex system with dozens of bodies. The Main star is an extremely fast-spinning Ae/Be, orange/reddish in colour, indicating that it could be an older Ae/Be Protostar.
Map Ref. Point #4
The Byeethe Torment
Game map search ref. : BYEETHE AA-A F2
POI Type: Scientific
The Galactic Map and visual contact confirm this main star is a White-Blue Supergiant, but the System Map description gives an incorrect statement of radius and class (describing as a regular B type). This is not the most astonishing feature of this system though. There is an unusually large T-Tauri with 1.9 Solar Radii. It is very similar to an A class in colour and radius.

POI Type: Scientific
This mini cluster of seven neutron stars is separated by approx. 50 LYs. They raise from the ecliptic for a 150 LY span, and from a 'northern' viewpoint give the appearance of a monolith - hence the name. Some of the neutron stars are reported to have interesting planets orbiting them, including an Ammonia world and a Terraformable world.
The Ammonia World turned out to be a Galactic Record Breaker for the Ammonia World with longest orbital period.

The Scutum Outer Beacon
Game map search ref. : PREOU FREE AA-A H0
POI Type: Beacon (Distance Marker)
This system, approx. 45,700 LYs from Sol, has a huge cold and red Wolf Rayet star, a red Ae/Be protostar, and a hot and young O main sequence star. A Venus-like planet is squeezed in the orbit of these stars. Aside of the oddity of this system, it acts as a beacon to the outer part of the Scutum Centaurus arm for travelers that want to cross toward the Carina Sagittarius arm in a zone where it's feasible for any jumprange.

Exploration
Centauri Shores
Game map search ref. : PRIA CHREA IW-N D6-19
POI Type: Historic
At 51,600 LYs from Sol, Centauri Shores is thought to be one of the first two 'Silentium' systems surveyed in any great detail (Oct. 3301). The system has a ringed Earth-Like World, an unusually large Ammonia world shrouded in a dense white atmosphere, and a Water Giant. A combination making it a system that can sustain all known major lifeforms.
The Silentium Centauri Badlands
Game map search ref. : PROO BYOE LC-T A44-0
POI Type: Region (Exploration Hazard - High)
Experienced explorers are aware that almost everywhere in the galaxy there is a layer of unscoopable star systems at -30/-170 LYs from the galactic plane. But since these layers of unscoopables keep their density even in the lowest density areas, they become prominent. The gap between the Scutum Centaurus arm and the Carina-Sagittarius arm in the lower Silentium Region is one of the lowest density areas currently known, and this makes travel routes very convoluted. There is a slim layer above the badlands where scoopable frequency is good, and star density adequate as to actually use these particular badlands to help traverse this gap. Here you can traverse with almost any jump range, but all travelers are advised to keep an eye on their fuel gauge!
Silentium Shores
Game map search ref. : HYPHIELIE QH-K C22-0
POI Type: Historic
Silentium Shores is thought to be the second of the first two 'Silentium' systems surveyed in any great detail (Oct. 3301). This system contains an Earth-Like World, two Water Worlds, and a High Metal Content terraformable. It is also home to an Ammonia World. The region between Centauri Shores and Silentium Shores is reported to have an unusually high concentration of Ammonia type worlds, with thirteen being found during the first tentative survey of this remote region.

Game map search ref. : HYPUMAEA PN-T E3-2
POI Type: Exploration Hazard (High)
The primary star of this system is a Herbig Ae/Be that orbits one of the largest T-Tauri's so far discovered. The T-Tauri is twice as large as Sol, and has a surface temperature of 11,400K. Since the Herbig has more mass your NavCom will always calculate your hyperspace exit within its vicinity, and depending on your angle of approach you can end up in the T-Tauri corona due to its extreme proximity to the primary (5 LS).
