Wormholes?

Are there any plans to incorporate wormhole mining in ED as there is in Eve Online?

I don't know what wormhole mining is, but the answer to pretty much every sentence that ends with ''as there is in Eve Online'' is usually a no in here.

Parts of the community dismissing out of hand everything connected with a game such as "Eve On-line et al" doesn't facilitate constructive debate and potentially prevents good ideas being given a fair hearing. All games plagiarise each other to some extent and if it improves the end product so much the better....for all concerned.

Of course, just saying ''Is this going to be added, it was in EvE'' is not a good way to start a constructive debate either.

Much better would be for the OP to describe the concept, and then describe what purpose it would serve in the game, possibly comparing to EvE and showing how the feature was implemented. Then we can have a constructive discussion.

FD have said there won't be any wormholes of any kind. Don't know what Eve actually have to do with it.

think about how many tactical evolutions would be where a new wormhole is found...
perfect for explorations looooong range, perfect ''excuse'' for a new alien enemy discover

would be awesome to find 1 or 2 wormholes somewhere in the galaxy...
