CQC Worse matchmaking than League of legends.

How is this fair? How this even matchmake? omg so frustrated. Not only minory, but they are the whole team high ranked ot at least more ranked than us.

1. Yep, the matchmaking is not nearly as good as it should be.
2. A lot of this is due to low populations: if CQC can't find you a balanced match, it'll just find you any game it can. LoL has a huge advantage here, with a couple orders of magnitude more players to make matches between.
3. In this particular case, there were likely other players on your team that quit before the end. The teams may have been more balanced initially.
4. Also, last I checked CQC tries to keep "wings" together even if it means uneven matches... so a bunch of pilots in a coordinated wing can make team deathmatch pretty uneven.

May be they were in wing, but I prefer rather waiting for ever, than having to play a stupid match 3v4 and the 4 of them were more ranked than us, now if this was RANDOM matchmaking, saying "is not nearly as good as it should be" and "its fault of the low population in cqc" its totally a wrong asumption, because if we had 1 high ranked pilot, agains 3 high ranked pilots, that would be more balanced, and there u can say "its not as good as it should be, BUT IT TRIES HARD" xD

So what you're saying is you'd rather never play, than occasionally play a game you're probably going to lose? Good to know I guess, but that kind of attitude is not going to fix the matchmaking problem.

Yea, I rather prefer to wait until I get a balanced match, and not enter in 5min to stay dead and in cooldown during 10more minutes.

At least I can do other stuff while waiting.

I understand the frustration (to a certain degree) and would prefer you having fun.

But, the matchmaking did not have much of a choice. We (wirdo, meat tree, steenpass) were in a squad/wing. It could have put gandorra in your team, but then it cannot put in someone high ranked (~skilled) to join your team after match start. I wonder if the algo does this kind of gambling ....

CQC is fun more often than not.

I wonder if the matchmaker should only match squads >2 against other squads of the same size, but have a "allow opposite sides" option in squad creation for people who just want to play together and don't mind being on opposite sides sometimes. Perhaps it should show the team allocations it's thinking of all the time as people enter and leave, so it's clear at the "starts in 30 seconds" mark at least, if not earlier, what the teams are going to be.

I had one match last night where it put a squad of 4 (three 35s and a 15) versus me and a beginner. Then, naturally, it made the same 4:2 matchup for the second match ... and ED just hung on the loading screen for me. After a few minutes of wondering what was going on, I assumed it had crashed and killed the process - but thinking about it I suspect the beginner on my team had seen the same ridiculous matchup as last time and hurriedly hit "quit", leaving the game waiting for a sixth player.
