Worst game I've ever played.

"Worst game I've ever played."

Ahh the pleasures of my older age then at a guess, try playing some video games from the 70's onwards and i promise you that you will never knock a modern title ever again no matter it be a good one or an awful one ;)
8bit tape loading games that loaded after 5mins of the tape loading/modem squealing noise...then instantly crashed...only to work fine 15mins later after 3 attempts :D
Ahhh them were the days :D

I used to think 5 minutes was an age. Now with modern titles taking a whole day to download sometimes it seems a lot quicker.
And then there's still no guarantee they'll work.

Download time is very diff from 5-15mins just to load the game ;)
I'm on a 300Mbit interweb connection, so my downloads don't take more than 30mins...even for Gb and Gb of data.
I can see how having a slower connection can be frustrating though.

TURBO mode for TAPE RECORDER was the first QOL upgrade.
And then I got 5+ inch FLOPPY DRIVE...
Yeah, this subject definitely makes me feel nostalgic.

I liked Ghostbusters on the ZX Spectrum.
The speech synthesis was epic!
I admit I was amazed too. I'm suprised it did not catch fire it pushed the sound chip to the max for an 8-bit.

Ok Airwolf was worse and years later "Horace goes skiing" still haunts me.

I was part of Team 4.5.

I wasn't involved in the ALS project other than doing the team logo.

We also did (but never released) Alone in the Dark Simulator which had no graphics whatsoever, just a 'hello?' sample and (eventually) the text 'Game Over - You have been eaten by a grue.' Which was written to be an even WORSE game than ALS.

I too have been using the SRV a lot since launch with no problems (apart from the b%*&dy throttle (please can we have a 5% increment!!!!!!)). Do you know what you did/ were doing, before you had the problem?
