Would anyone else like to find Kerbin?

I know the galaxy is supposed to be a realistic representation, but i learned so much about realistic space-travel from those Kerbals, and have such a soft spot for them that it would make my day to know that their system had been included somewhere.

As far as i can tell it would be a very small system, i'm not 100% sure but i think that everything in the kerbal world, including the kerbals themselves is 1 tenth of our size, i think it would be really nice to tie two such wonderful games together, maybe there could be a small station orbiting their main planet (Kerbin) called jebediah outpost or something like that, what do you guys think? Any kerbal fans here?

:) They could be really far away from any of the main factions, i mean like REALLY far away, so they don't break immersion, it would be a sort of Easter egg.

Also you wouldn't be able to dock at Jebediah Outpost as it'd be too small, you'd just get some confused Kerbal chatter through the comms when you requested docking.

I don't think you would want a Kerbal Space station the same scope as the E: D stations. The part count alone would reduce you to 1 fps :).

meh, i feel kind of sad because i'm guessing it won't happen, it's just that so many of us who knew nothing about space travel were taught by Kerbal Space program, and the galaxy in Elite is such a wonder to behold when you look out of your cockpit window, that i was hoping something could be done in this respect. When i think how easily i move around in supercruise, and how much those kerbals struggled just to get into orbit, it makes me smile. Failing this idea, kerbal Decals for our ships maybe?

In the station the biggest pad would fit a small ship (sidewinder-cobra)
But well they wouldnt have pads, rather docking ports.
