Would it be considered as cheating?

If I would publish a tool which is automatically scanning and submiting to Slopey's DB all commodities from station?
Just press F1 for example and wait 30 seconds to have it done.

Do we have any moral frame, codex, saying when tool is ok and when it is cheating?

Because now with a little effort to do scan memory and find all crazy pointers, or much simpler but much slower OCR you can easilly remove human from game, and set player as navigation bot needed only to arrive to target in supercruise.

Scanning memory is not permitted, OCR from screenshots is already being done. As regards AI navigating, docking and so on, good luck with that.

Im not completely sure what you meen but, if you meen making the avatar (ship) automaticaly travel to another system and go to a station without any player interaction I would say this is not in the spirit of the game . Bots are never welcome in games to advance gameplay . That said its your game so I guess you can do what you like . I personaly wouldnt do this.

Not from from screenshot, realtime, in game.

I was creating OCR to read commodities, and I have gone a little too far, right now my script is doing everything... I am only aligning with destination and pressing jump key, or undocking, even galaxy map selecting targets is automated.

That's why I think I've gone too far with it.

Why would you pay 50€ for a game to write a bot to play the game for you? ;)

well, to me its all the same pen and paper, excel or automated tools. basically meta gaming (but I have no moral issues with that)

Sorry, I think you dont understand me, it is not memory reading nor accessing, it is realtime OCRing screen, with automated interaction with game, simply script is entering commodities and going one by one and ocring it, saving as CSV, searching for best route and displaying information.

Accessing memory is for sure against morality and I think also against EULA.

Problem is, when I will publish this tools, it will be super easy for other people with a little knwledge about programming to do everything within game.

It's a tough call and it's up for every Player to make those decisions on his/her own.

OP is referring to things that FD have stated are not permitted, not much of a tough call really. Unless of course that tough call is "Is it worth potentially getting my game account banned". ;)

I would be surprised if there aint bots yet. And running a bot 24/7 and let him do all the trading or exploration for you is cheating for me yes.
Bots have destroyed so many games and communitys you never cant stop them especially when it comes to grinding in a game.
Sad but true.
