A purpose built, death defying race track in an around a space station would be amazing. I remember games like Geoff Crammond's 'Stunt Car Racer' & EA's 'Powerdrome', the tracks were brilliant for their time but both had pretty limited control & not much freedom.

Given the game mechanics & complete freedom we have in ED, I think it would be pretty awesome to have something in this game where pilots can go to test themselves in an exciting race of pure skill & judgement.

Slipstream 5000. If anybody can remember that game. Played that one for days when I was a kid. Till this day I think it's one of the best racing games that involves flying. If racing to be implemented in ED I'd like this to be the inspiration) Just out of nostalgic feelings probably.
