Buzz word. Liberal media. That makes me giggle.

I mean let's look at it for a second. On a basic genetic level, Diversity is fairly essential to prevent damage occurring from inbreeding.

I suspect the same is true on a cognitive level too. Your own thoughts can become narrow and restricted if you shut yourself off from the diverse opinions of the full spectrum of human experience. Narrow mindedness and the fears it brings are as likely bad for mental health as a narrow gene pool.

It could well be the case that those with narrow minds and limited genetic pools are in fact quite sick.

Purely speculation though.

You sound butt hurt, nice damage control, you just made a statement full of big boy words to sound smart. So base on your logic England is a bunch of inbreeding. Really makes you think.

I think OP is a Lib in disguise, calling for diversity..;)
OP has a point he more diverse the merrier, some things will be very difficult, like Huds, some things are a one time effort, like diverse stations, design 1 you have made as many as you want. But designing 1 probably takes time.
But I do think E: D is getting there, however slowly, and who ever postulated that gamers are patient, liar!
Not being a coder and not pretending to be one, I imagine that some things that seem easy, can be very difficult, neigh impossible to achieve. (life taught me that )

Fake news! The UI is generated by implants/wearables in the pilot's body, not by the ship or the station. There's no reason for there to be variety.

Not to say it wouldn't be nice if we could customise them more.
