Would you pay for second CMDR on SINGLE account (shared resources)?

It's fairly quick. It takes longer to make the money than to pick them up. The collection limpets, just get a high class where you can have several out at the same time.

Another way to make money for your evil account is to run both computers, wing up for a trade, fly it in the clean one. Both make money.

The issue isn't really to share money to have shadow accounts, but the ability to share ships, at least for me that's the issue. Upgraded and engineered ships take time. And if you do crime in one, the crime stays in the hot ship anyway.

the entry hurdle to this is already having a second pc running for elite. Sure suprrdedicated people might do that but not many will, while the possibility with an easy ingame feature to do so, would surely increase the abuse.

Yes definitely, more because I don't want to go through unlocking engineers again (and tharg FSD boosters) Happily start from scratch with credits and ships though., would be great if I could share assets with a second account.

Think it would be open to abuse though.

I think you would still need to unlock engineers and tech brokers. Shared resources I am assuming would be skins and bobbleheads etc. It would be like a brand new account and starting from fresh with that other commander.

Personally I would like to have one.

I would like a second slot that wasn't actually tied into the other slot with ranks/resources etc (if needed a second account could still be used to transfer stuff) just to have a disposable commander to start over with from time to time (I'm too attached to my 2 accounts to start either from scratch). Plus, my primary account has LTE, but the second doesn't.

When I suggested "Shared Resources", I specifically meant credits and Ships. So you could create a second CMDR on your account and they could be stationed elsewhere but still have access to all the money and ships (with transfer) that the primary CMDR did. IOW: Maybe one CMDR out fighting Thargoids while you had another CMDR back in the bubble running missions to help pay for the high cost of war (rebuy's). You could fight with one CMDR and if funds got low, switch over to the other and run trade missions until you got the bank account back up to snuff. You could also buy ships and modules with one CMDR and then have them transferred out to the other as needed (w/time and credits).

This is different than just having a couple of "Save Slots" in the game. "Save Slots" imply a snapshot of some point in time (resources are not shared). With multiple CMDR's in a single account, credits, ships, and other resources continue to increase (or decrease) for the idle CMDR while the other CMDR is in play. The best analogy I can come up with is that your account is now more of a "Company" and your Company can hire multiple pilots with access to the companies resources. (Although only one can fly at a time) This offers much more than a snapshot "Save Slot"...

Lots of different ways to use this type of relationship to make more types of gameplay available to more people. I haven't heard anyone provide an example of how this would break the game...

I don't know if this has already been asked (couldn't find a thread if it has), but...

Would you pay an additional license fee to have a second CMDR (or more) added to your single ED Account?

(Not whether you would buy a second CMDR on a second account - as we know we can already do this...)

I'm busy buffing up my second account and was thinking about how nice it would be to be able to share resources (ships/credits) from my primary account. IOW: pay a full subscription fee, but add an additional CMDR (or more) to your primary account. Only one CMDR could be used at a time, but each CMDR could exist in different locations, potentially with different faction rep and notoriety. Sharing resources and ships just like a two-cmdr "company" might. Maybe faction rep (and notoriety) should also be shared by both cmdrs (like a company).

I would pay for a second cmdr on my primary account. I would also continue to keep my second account though.

I'm not sure how this would break the game, break the ED universe, and generally result in complete destruction of all our noble principles, but I'm sure that information will ultimately be explained by more insightful folks than I. ;-)

Seriously doubt FD have the will for this, but I'd pay a one off fee of 10 pounds if I didn't have to unlock all the Engineers again.

No, definitely not. It is like paying for save slots, which is Konami-level of greed.
