Would you pay upfront for the next Paid Expansion or wait to see how it pans out?

Same here. FDev are doing awesome work actually.
Not paying upfront anymore.
First a decent update which include bug fixes and DON'T bring old bugs back for f's sake! Will pay when they deliver.
But 'season' 3 is free of charge so if they do a really good job there, my opinion could change again.
Currently have high hopes for Beyond though. Mining enhancements.., the new visuals of planets... yummie!

I aldready did because I own the LEP... But yes, I would buy it again. I wouldn't do that with other games though.
