Would you still want a Fleet Carrier if ?

Got a tweet from Frontier the other day.
" Use your Fleet Carrier to rearm, refuel and repair on the go, and with a variety of loadouts available you can be prepared for any situation "

No mention of outfitting or modual storage, so this is a serious question would you still want one if it had no outfitting or modular storage.

How can you be prepared for any situation if you can't configure your ships.

Highly likely we will get outfitting and the same storage limits as stations/flight operation carriers. To answer your question, I would most definitely still want one, the ships I'll be taking into the black will be fully built, I doubt I would even need outfitting. For use inside the bubble or near populated areas, doesn't really matter if the carrier has no outfitting.

My worry is not about X service being available, it is about the cost to have X service onboard. I'll reckon we'll have no issues regarding the choice to kit out a carrier any way we want, base carrier will be fairly cheap, adding services on top will be serious end game pricing.

Opps. Big fingers little phone.

Fixed

Also capacity is only 16, no more no less.
Sweet 16 for you and all your friends.

Has this been confirmed?
Look at Frontier's post on Fleet Carriers
Capacity
8 large
4 medium
4 small
On 16 pads
Nothing about any additional hanger storage.
Frontier keeps saying in all the info they have put out.

Rearm
Refuel
Repair
Capacity 16 pads

Outfitting is a big deal, if it was to be available don't you think they would have mentioned it.

Without outfitting and module storage you still need to have a home system to store your modules and fly to that system for outfitting.

Strange they put it under a big Capacity banner....

Well they haven't said there isn't module storage either... Maybe the "variety of loadouts" means module storage.

For me, ship storage and module storage is the minimum feature set to be worth having a carrier. Without either one or the other I'll pass. Module storage is much more useful than for instance a shipyard that sells ships on the carrier. I would also like to be able to store fuel for more than one jump. Anything else is a bonus.

Maybe this is what the support ship is for ...... different module types become available according to the support ship purchased. We will see 🤷‍♂️

Otherwise, why have support ship options?

I fly with many commanders that constantly change their combat loadout because its makes the game more interesting and fun. I also like the change my configuration around and experiment with new configs. I am just saying outfitting is important to have on the FC.
I can live with only 16 ships but seriously have to think about getting a FC without outfitting.

I've been thinking about carriers while running to different engineers and it would be nice to be able to take all your ships to them at once, ya I know you can pin blues but less rolls if at the engineer.
But I'm not going to pay what most of you think they will cost.
