David has posted, but given that he'd get swamped with posts and questions and replies and PMs ... I don't blame him for lurking and not posting. As long as he reads this and knows I think he's a fantastic guy.
But let's not forget about the rest of the guys and gals at Frontier Developments who do a wonderful job making games and answering our endless questions and pleas for help. How they mange this forum and be under pressure at work and have a family life too, I'll never understand.
And lastly I can't say all that and not give a mention to the forum moderators who don't deserve the crap they sometimes get.

David must be much busy with many of responsibilities. He expresses himself in the press, in public demonstration and the dev videos. It would be awesome to see a post from him here in the forums
I'd rather he keep the team focused and working on the game.

I was hoping footage of him in Malmo would go up, but I don't think it has.

David Braben is doing just fine with communication etc with us Alpha/Beta users. There are the newsletters, posts on this forum already and video clips etc which he does input his thoughts and feedback.
His time at the moment is best served with the team sifting through the data and feedback and working on the game.
Our jobs (as users) at the moment are to keep trying out the game, report faults and ideas and above have patience...I'd rather David and the team take their time and get this game right than rush things to keep the few happy.
Or pandering to every question.
The game so far is showing clear signs of being as great as we all hoped.
