I think the AI have had another sneaky boost,

I was attacked by 3 cobras, I thought no real problem they never really pose much threat, before I knew it they had me down to 45% hull and had attached cargo limpets and were stealing my cargo. Ive never seen the AI do that before, missiles, foreign body detected.. Very coordinated attack. I just say managed to get out of there alive minus 8t of cargo.

Certainly added a bit of excitement to pot.

Blame Sarah Jane Avory. Sounds like the minions are getting hairy!!

For the first time, I was ambushed by a wing of 8 Sidewinders after interdicting a lone Sidewinder for a pirate mission. After I shot the lone Sidewinder, all 8 were instantly red and firing. I managed to defeat all 9 in my Vulture but I lost shields once and lost over 50% hull. I didn't realize it until afterward that the other 8 were not part of the mission and I should have jumped after the mission target was destroyed. Oh well, good to know that my skills have improved enough to handle 9 angry SJ minions at once. Seems like Solo mode is no longer the easy mode.
