wow bug destroyed my type 7!

Exiting SC in beta 2 would never of had this problem as we exited at 20km away from the station. But the people moaned saying " The distance is to great and people can attack me when I show up at a station please reduce it so I can dock up quicker and be safe."
The devs complied and so we have this silly exit from SC where people now have the potential to land inside the stations depending on their angles.

All that needs to be done is increase the exit distance back by 5-10 km then this problem would be solved. Because no one likes a station in the face.

Yeah that adjustment was lame, it was basically a sop to those were complaining about no longer being able to abuse FA-off/boost to quickly approach stations when they fixed that exploit. IMO the game worlds feels weirdly claustrophobic now that you exit SC on the station doorstep.

Some stations are long. If you want to drop out late from SC , do it keeping the planet behind you. You already know why.

That's okay for normal travel. Now, please explain how dropping from the compressed space of supercruise too close to an object forbids ending up embedded in that same object.

Basic mathematics: a finite positive number (amount of space separating the objects) divided by another positive number (the time/space compression ratio) can never result in a negative number (i.e. an overlap).

And that would be correct if that was what is happening.
Wrong, I agree.
Bug, I disagree.

sry, but at this point you just lost all credibility...
this is would just be plain fanboy-defence of a broken game (mechanic).

if you are so good in explaining why things work (or should work) in this game, maybe you can tell me why i mostly get completely rediculous transport missions when my reputation goes up (118 tea for only 28k), while i see good offers with low reputation?
i am sure there is a workaround... erm sry a "right approach" for that as well...

That's not how it works with the in game frameshift drive. You can supercruise straight through the station and out the other side if you don't drop out. As evidenced by the drop outs inside the station.

Do you think that is wrong or want it changed so that supercruising through an object destroys your ship? If so ticket that as a bug. Otherwise the frameshift drive can embed you in the walls of the station.

It will probably result in multiple threads saying. "I died due to supercruise/station collision bug" though :)
