Wow, Frontier Support is backlogged!

I bought a 3rd account. Easter Sale. You know how it goes.

But I can't log in because the verification process is broken.

So I made a ticket.

I got an automated response about how swamped they are since 3.0. It will be at least 72 hours before they can get back to me :)

Good thing this isn't my first account.

But it does point out one thing -- 3.0 is a buggy mess, and dropping a new C&P system on people without any kind of in-game heads-up is dumb.

I have to wonder about FD sometimes. They sure make some odd choices.
 
I'd imagine it's just the bank holiday backlog, nothing more. :)

There's a bug on the PS4 that causes the game to crash, and once it does, it takes someone from Frontier Support to move the player's ship to a different system before ED starts working again. I suspect this is a large percentage of the backlog OP is experiencing.

Hmm, I am with you but I also understand FD, great a complete new ingame System could be some load of work :). But beside of that, I hope very strong that, after they release Jurassic World, more manpower is coming to ED. Since 2015 I have the feeling that not many people working on it.
 
Frontier support is amazing and every major release results in a backlog.

Funny how the "buggy mess" is quite payable for me.
 
It might take a couple days, but they will resolve your issue. They were able to move my ship to a safe location recently after the game was stuck in a crash loop.
Regardless of what you think of fdev as a whole, their support team is on the ball.

This part made me laugh!

There was plenty of notice that C&P was changing, forum posts, dev blogs, twitch streams, and of course, a fracking entire beta.

Assume I didn't take part in the beta.

Well, since you are a forum veteran, I'll assume you saw at least one of the hundreds of threads about the new C&P system. Unless you are an Ostrich playing with your head in the virtual sand, you would have know about the coming changes.

Additionally, you didn't answer my question, how exactly were they supposed to give a heads-up in the game?
