WOW. I love my Python.

After an awful lot of effort, I bought a Python today. WOW, it's one hellova ship. Been trying it out in solo mode. Went looking for a fight, and kicked everybody's butt! And I got interdicted, it was great to just turn around and open up with all guns blazing, and watch the guy disintegrate.
The only thing I didn't like was its poor yaw rate, which made it harder to line up with docking entrances, my type 7 yaws much better.
Im gonna take it out tomorrow into open play.

Nice but for the love of God, make sure you have enough CR to cover insurance.

My own little experiment at monitoring effects between two little systems is taking its toll, maybe time to earn some real cash and try a Python out

Picked mine up today too, and loving it! Currently grinding out a few trades to pick up some better gear (couldn't wait to get into it, screw saving extra beforehand!), but I can't wait to take her out bounty hunting.

On a side note... anyone seen any class 3 plasma accelerators?

Thats the spirit lol.

Plasmas only come in size 2 (Medium) and size 4 (Huge)

Nope. Choice of large guns so far was Lasers, Cannons, Frag Cannons.
No Railguns, Multicannons.

I use 3 large Pulse Lasers (fixed). Nearly the same dps as beam Lasers, better armor penetration and really low heat consumption.
Medium Slots use gimballed cannons for an interesting change.

It's the finest ship in the game no doubt, but I sold mine because everything was too easy in it. Bought an Anaconda for trading instead and when I feel like fighting I buy a cheap Viper and kit it in lightweight "D" gear.
