It's 4:06 AM in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA just checked the forums for some news - not much happening. Was just about to fire up Elite to have some fun, then I remembered it's not fun anymore it's just raises my blood pressure (yes old guy).

Hey, Frontier Developments Plc. can I get a disk with 1.5 on it. Looks like it's back to IL2-1946 until they fix this blunder.

Please hurry my time is running out ( only have 30 to 40 years left) so get off your butts an fix the game please.

PS: It's 4:19 time is running out.

I started up IL2 - 1946 (fly a ME-109G6) got 2 B-17 and a P-38, pick up many bullet holes, but made it back to my airfield. Fun game no bugs, no grinding.

To be fair, i've played il2 since the original, including in online wars, and it used to have some awesome bugs once upon a time, 10+ years later however.....

And also the G6 is the dog of all 109's unless you really meant the G6AS (I would always take a G2 or G10 if available if there were no 190's to use).

To be honest he's got a point. Personally I agree there are problems with 2.1 some of them got fixed fairly quickly, some were addressed even today and some are still out there to be fixed. But until you say what we cannot help or agree/disagree. Meaning this thread is pointless.
If you won't even say what you dislike then no one will take you seriously enough to even try and fix it <- Just like me who's in the process of adding you to my ignore list (New policy for me since 2.1, since I'm fed up with wasting my time on threads I consider clickbait or ones with troll or bare minimum contents and nothing constructive to add, congrats you are #62 :))

What grinding? You don't need to have engineer upgrades right now, just play and spend a bit of time here and there getting materials. Don't make it a grind and it won't be one.

Il-2:1946 is also over a decades worth of development. Il-2 was first released in 2001, plus the years of work prior to release. Then the additional content as the years went by finally culminating in 1946. Which still has issues, like high altitude FM being absent and the weird cusp of the world atmosphere view at 18k ft. I love BoS/BoM though, haven't played Il-2:1946 since the "sound mod" hack.
