Managed to borrow a Rift for a few days and fired up Elite in VR mode, quite simply blown away with how stunning every looks. Approx 4,000 ly from bubble and I'm not heading back any time soon.

Yeah. ED is a VR poster child. Quite a different experience.

Something else isn't it, especially since the last update. Makes combat miles easier too, my progress bar has moved further in the few weeks I've had the rift than in the 6 months prior.
