So, I took a pirate hunting mission from Sol. Go to Alpha Centauri and kill 4 pirates. Easy enough. Accepted. I hunted down 2 then went into another USS.
Inside was a clean npc who offered me to abandon pirate hunting. All I had to do was dock in hutton orbital. I thought I'd save some time by abandoning the mission.
Then I proceeded to go into supercruise to get to Hutton orbital.
Hmm then I thought I'd hit a bug. It said it was only 0.2 ls away, and yet, I wasn't getting any closer. Hmm. I exited out of supercruise and back again, hoping it would reset. Nothing.
Then I noticed, it wasn't 0.2 ls away... it was 0.2 LY away. Arrgh. Checked on system map, no way to hyperspace to proxima centauri, as you could only select Alpha Centauri as the jump desination. Tried from the contacts list, wouldn't hyperspace, only supercruise.
Arrgh. So I went the entire 0.2 LY distance via super cruise.... Only took me 3 hours+ realtime to get there. Hope I never have to do that again!!

Amazing the servers nor game crashed all through my journey though. I hope I never have to do that again. Maybe Proxima Centauri could be added as a hyperspace location please?
