I am in WP2 currently flying through IZANAMI. Does anyone realise that this spelled backwards is:- IM A . Who allowed this? I really don't think it is appropriate
In Japanese mythology, Izanami no mikoto (Japanese: 伊弉冉尊 or 伊邪那美命, meaning "she who invites") is a goddess of both creation and death, as well as the former wife of the god Izanagi-no-mikoto. She is also referred to as Izanami no kami.

Yeah, so grateful for the history lesson. Being well aware of the origins of the word, and, with most origins in modern day language, derived from fairly innocent beginnings. It may have been prudent for the developers to use a bit of creative licence to slightly alter the spelling to be more pc, after all 1939 put a whole different slant on the word which to this day offends many peopleAnd if you play rock music backwards they have satanic messages.
You do realise the name Izanami predates the "" moniker by several thousand years?
It's a key name in the Japanese creation myth, I am sure we don't need to reject every word that can be offensive if spelled backwards or contains a combination of letters that if extracted and printed by themselves makes a word we don't like. Just be glad you're not from Scunthorpe!

political correctness
noun
noun: political correctness; noun: political correctitude
- the avoidance of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.
"women like him for his civil rights stand and political correctness"
I'm sure that if the developers had used her full name then nothing could be misconstrued.
