So, you want to know about me? Fair enough. I brought us out here, y'ought to know the guy what done it.
I graduated flight school in LHS 3447. Pretty much THE flight school for the Pilots Federation. I explored a little, traded a little, fought a little... bounced around the inner worlds for a bit before settling down for a piece. BD+03 3531a, Sinnan, Liaedin... learned to fight at nav beacons, learned to wrench on my ship at places like Morgan Dock and Horowitz Hub. Learned what the equipment and the pilot could and couldn't do. Lost my eye running the blockades around Panem, during the Federal "Just say 'no' to drugs or we'll firebomb your f-ing planet" campaign in Kappa Fornacis.
Remind me to give my regards to Admiral Vincent about that someday...
Then came Calennero. I signed on with the Empire, but I signed on with the Feddie naval reserve too. Got both letters of Marque somewhere.. probably gathering dust in some desk drawer or jacket. Calennero was the place I could put both of those to good use. Based myself out of HIP 20277, making bank on the Empire's dime. Learned some mining there. Learned how the resource sites worked. Learned to dodge the rocks in a running fight. It was nice, but way too close to the Throne World. No matter. By then, I'd made Elite...
So it was off to Shinrarta. Yeah. Shinrarta Dezhra. Where the equipment is plentiful, the prices are cheap, and the riffraff can't bother you. Again, way too close to the core worlds. Too civilized. Too ... I don't know. Too many people I guess.
So... HIP 16607. Ran with Red Dice systems. Bolstered them for a while, but it was all way too Imperial. Again, too much activity, too many people making plays for power. So... wandering. Back to Shinrarta to do some tuning... call in some favors from people that I'd met over the years, y'know? And now? Now I'm here on the periphery, holding court in a bar, with a fleet of friends and ships at my back that range from stealth scouts to monster freighters, and I think this place is just about the right size for me.
So that's me. Just an old, beat up spacer that's seen enough to know you can never see it all, and ready to start a revolution in some backwater banana republic because I'm tired of seeing the mega corps and big governments stepping on the little guys.
Welcome to the Misjump Bar & Grill. Now what'll you have?
