Wrong info provided for missions?

Maybe I missed something, but I have had several missions lately where the target system doesn't have the station/outpost listed in the mission. Is there some issue with missions recently or am I supposed to do a surface scan for every planet?

You may need to buy system map data for the system if you can't see the planets/outposts/starports in it. Either that or carry around a discovery scanner with you, preferably the infinite one to scan the whole system.
