WTB Toxic Waste

Seriously, who does a mobster have to clobber to get their paws on a couple of canisters of this?

The gang I'm working for just can't get enough of this stuff (maybe it's mislabeled MDMA or something), but I just can't provide for the poor sods... Rare artwork? Sure. Military plans? No problem. Battle weapons? Got em in spades.. but toxic crap nobody wants? Nooope.

Is there any preferable way to get Toxic Waste? Like taking certain missions and hunting it down in USS's or something? Because I've unloaded hundreds of thousands of ~~stolen~~ goods someone misplaced, but I've yet to see a single ton of Toxic Waste. It's like a sickly green glowing unicorn or something.

Anyway, if you get your hands on some of it and are flying close to systems that want to split up from Feds (from GalNews), send me a PM so we can work something out.

Tried really hard finding this stuff. I spent about six or seven hours blowing up hauler after hauler while picking up random loot in the process. Zero toxic waste.

It just appears floating in USS's. RNG is RNG!

I believe there is an NPC found in USS flying a Type 9 which carries toxic waste. Waste disposal services or something. Never attacked him, but you might try pirating him and blowing up his cargo hatch to see if he drops toxic waste.

There is. I ran into this encounter once with other pirates as well. They shot out the cargo hatch and the guy was carrying around 30 or so units of the stuff.

I had this problem too. The problem is they want you to steal things illegal in their system - and toxic waste is the only thing thing banned in thier anarchic neck of the woods.

I've only found this at USS's when I'm not looking for it. Beware, I've heard that carrying toxic waste causes damage to your ship and modules. If your flying something expensive the mission rewards may not cover the repair costs!
