Hardware & Technical X-55 throttle "custom" panel

As many of you know the X-55 throttle has extremely faulty cable system inside that wares off after a year or so of usage making the entire thing useless. But after owning X-55 throttle for some time I notice that the two way switches and especially two rotary ones that can be mapped as extra axis are very VERY convenient and are hard to replace by any other throttle thing.
I did decided to get the "big boy" toy aka Warthog HOTAS to replace entire X-55 lately but the Warthog throttle switches layout is... hard to get use too to be honest. Good thing I did not throw away my broken X-55 - it was fairly easy to literally cut off the no longer functional throttle part and leave only the switches! I didn't even had to weld any cables since the ones responsible for switches were conveniently placed. So I combined excellent with precision Warthog setup with my fav part of X-55 and its still recognized as X throttle so its programmable:

It's been a couple weeks. How's this been working out for you?

Absolute no issues so far, my pc recognizes it as a X-55 throttle still, just dont see main removed axis - all buttons and the rotary ones are working great. And I will say it gain, the layout of X-55 throttle is much more to my liking than Warthog one.

I didn't know the rotarys could be mapped at all. :O
I tried solder the tiny wires inside the throttle but I probably did more damage to it than repairing it lol.

Wall, not that important as I don't have much to use it for. Thinking of getting some sort of racing setup for Gran Turismo Sport instead. :)

I have one of them mapped to sensor range. (RTY 3)
Still haven't found a good use for RTY 4, though. I'd love to use it for HUD brightness, or youtube volume, or light amplification if any of those were possible.

My RTY 3 is also sensor :)
RTY 4 is not in use(as isn't my 2 rotarys on the rhs of the throttle)
The lhs rotary(the silver one) is used for sub targettting.
The nipple,I stay away from that useless flimsey item :D
