Hello fellow commanders,
I need your help with some aspects of the game's AI that is behaving a bit like X3.
Last night I got to the point where I saved up enough credits by space trucking in my Sidewinder to buy a Hauler. I accepted a mission to deliver some cargo and flew off to another system to pick it up in my new hauler.
The problem I have started when I requested docking rights at a large orbis/corolis type star port. I received docking permission to land on a pad and I proceeded into the station to dock. I followed all the correct landing procedures (correct pad, correct approach, landing gear down etc) but the game bugged out and would not confirm my final approach nor allow me to land. No mater what I did, the mini landing game/landing radar thing would not appear. Eventually I ran out of landing time so I tried to leave the station and request a new landing permission, but the station declared me as a trespasser and gave me way too short a time to get out of the station. The station then proceeded to blow up my ship and I lost many hours of work (50k+) through no fault of my own.
I was very frustrated with the game's AI at this point so I gave up playing the game for the night. Tonight, I logged back into the game with the intention of sorting things out. I paid my insurance to get my hauler back (less 30k worth of cargo which was destroyed). I checked the local law bulletin board thing and saw that I had no bounty no fines, no criminal record etc etc Nothing, ALL CLEAR. So I launched, left the station and aligned to the next system. Before I could do anything else my ship was scanned by the security ships and destroyed. This happened twice in a row. I have no idea why this is happening. The game is now unplayable for me as I am camped in the station by the stations own security ships and I am near bankrupt.
When I look to the reputation panel on the right of my ship it shows my reputation with a little red arrow and something about a bounty on me. Why do I have a bounty? Why can I not clear this bounty in the station? Why do I even have a bounty, it's not my fault the game's AI bugged out and my ship was destroyed because the game has a serious bug with ship landing. Right now I don't think I can play the game with a broken X3 like AI. Any help would be most welcome.
