X52 blinking light problem. Nobody ever goes in hardware thread so posting here.

I have searched all over the net but nothing seems to be directing to my specific problem.

inside the settings/ calibration the i button. button 31 works fine.

outside of that or inside the game. when I press it the HAT on the right stick blinks as well as the i button. even when I try to assign it to a function in options it does not recognize that I am pressing the button.

Please dont tell me I have a faulty button??

No it's the "clutch light". Turn the clutch off in the settings. If you don't have a clutch setting update the driver.

In the joystick control panel, you need to untick the latched clutch mode tick box.

wow that fixed it... I can't believe there is no info on the net about that.. wow!

Took me ages to find that. Plus you need to make sure you unprogram all of the buttons otherwise some wont work properly.
