Sorry, failed to find any other relevant thread....
Even in the Saitek control panel, none of the switches on my throttle handle work any more. Hat, wheel button, mouse button, D, E, clutch - all dead. I maybe experienced some intermittent behaviour before they died (but its sometimes hard to tell in-game), and it was a new install where the problem first cropped up.
Tried several different drivers, tried completely clean Win10 install, tried my old C-drive where it was mostly OK before. Nothing.
Going to tear it down, but any tips, and anyone had this before?
OK, so the 90 page thread does have quite a lot of hardware posts. The throttle cables pass through the handle, and there is a built in wire-cutter, plus an extreme lack of slack. its now fixed, but I'd suggest preventative maintenance to all owners... Protect the cables with a shim, and very carefully dremel the slot to provide a curved exit (and more free cable).
Mod - merge please?
