For people not using mode for elite dangerous, here is a way to bind this rotary to fire group :
- bind a key for next group, an other one for previous group
- use the x52 profile editor
- make sure you have 3 groups, using the grid mode
- make 2 macro for shift command :
* shift command for mode 1 - using advanced command : on press, press and release the previous group key. On release, press and releate the next group key. Set both duration ("quantize time") to 0.
* shift command for mode 3 - using advanced command : on press, press and release the next group key. On release, press and releate the previous group key. Set both duration ("quantize time") to 0.
Here you are, save, apply, and enjoy.
An other trick :
if you want to use the 2 throttle rotary for power distributor :
- set rotary to directional axis, set sensibility to 2 (very small : only 2 ticks from the left), and bind one axis to weapon, the other one to sys.
- same for the second rotary, 1 to engine, the other one to sys.
