Hardware & Technical X52 Pro drivers?

Must they be installed for Elite Dangerous to work?

IE: On my Logitech G940 setup I didn't install the Logitech profiler software and Elite recognized the HOTAS just fine.

So I am wondering if the driver/SST software can just be ignored. Will Elite Dangerous just recognize it natively, so to speak?

X52 works best with drivers for ED

Thanks for the heads up! Off to the Mad Catz site I go!!!

Also, Be sure to Download the programming SST too, Because that allows you to make profiles for more than one game, It works better with ED because it lets you adjust some sensitivity outside ED which can't be adjusted in the game, Like looking around with the mouse stick on the throttle.

When making a profile, be sure to save the profile in the DEFAULT location, Then you'll be allowed to just click on the saved profile on the saitek icon in system tray

And another tip for you lucky new x52 pro owner which you may know already but either way it's still awesome. When your in the key bindings menu and are binding something you can use the pinky trigger on the joystick as a modifier. Just select the thing you want to bind like say "select next hyperspace destination" hold down the pinky trigger and then press another button.

I use this to bind loads more lesser used items like this. Your kind of doubling the number of buttons available by doing this.

It's cool for things like switching weapon load outs as well as you can bind the pinky and the top four way hat left and right to switch those.
