Hardware & Technical X52 Pro flight stick.

I have just ordered this baby from amazon and coming tomorrow. Cant wait to use it with all the extra buttons in one place. Any good profiles for windows 10 where all buttons are mapped out. Does Any one else use this flight stick and what are your opinions?.

I like it. Don't know about profiles, but one tip: If you install the drivers you can use the profile editor to make almost every movable thing mappable, like the "mouse button". I don't remember the step-by-step instructions, search and ye shall find.

Everyones preference is different , so you may be best off making your own bindings or just modifying Elite's X52 profile.

Using the Saitek profiling software can be very productive, but also very confusing for some people. The current "plug in and play Elite" procedure is install the Saitek driver, plug it into a USB2 port when asked, reboot, load up the Saitek control panel, disable clutch in the MFD tab, load Elite, go to Controls and configure things, and enjoy!

I love it. Super responsive and i can't play without it anymore. Only thing for me is (windows 10, lastest drivers and software) i have to open the "control panel" of the flight controle system software otherwise some buttons don't work. I keep it open in the background and then all is okay. After 5 months or so my throttle got wonky. i opend it and removed the indentation. (its got a (don't know how to say it in english) "bump" from 80% up throttle. i dind"t mind it to much but when it started to function no more i removed it and its been way better for me. Made my own bindings and its super. I hope you enjoy it as much as me.

Using it since a long time. Very good hotas.
Eventually the throttle had some trouble, but opening it and removing a broken (and not very useful part: a little plastic part to have a smooth stop at middle throttle) solved it.

If you do not have it already, recommend Voice Attack for 10 bucks! Once you have the x-52 and VA, I can provide you will an excellent profile/setup for both voice and stick controls!

PS: also if you are not interested in VA, search this forum for x-52 profile threads. there is a guy who has a really nice one which I based mine off of. He has a few youtube vids too detailing use and setup!

Here is the thread I was referring to for an excellent X52-Pro profile. The thread also has a response from me which includes link to another excellent VA profile which couples well with the x52Pro profile. The x52 profile and associated VAP, along with EDDI round out my arsenal of excellent/minimal keyboard need with all action on the x-52Pro and/or voice controls in VA.

Hi well it arrived this morning and looks fantastic hehe. Ive been to Saitek x52 pro website but there are only plugins and cant find the driver it self. Am I missing something?.
