Hardware & Technical X52 Pro: How Do I use assign a designed profile in ED

So I have the X52 Pro and can understand the mode settings etc but how do I assign this in Elite?

What am I missing? Can someone give me a 1.2.3 Process?

You're talking about 2 different things. Elite has a configuration where you can set it to obey certain outputs from your X52 to do certain things - like accelerate, drop landing gear, boost. Your X52 configuration lets you set up your stick to give certain outputs depending on things like mode and the pinky switch. You have to connect the 2 things yourself.

Right so for example to get the main trigger in mode 2 open the galaxy map instead of fire.

1. Profile editor I could make mode 2 - Trigger = Keypress z

2. Elite control Options - Galaxy map = Keyboard Z
