X52 responses

Hi peeps,
Is it just me or are the X52 stick responses a bit squishy nowadays? I seem to have to move my stick a lot more to get a response than say a month ago. I've not played for a bit so maybe its already been discussed, if so sorry for rehashing an old subject.

Not got an X52, but have the X55. I found my stick settings where all to <pot> and i had a HUGE DEADZONE!!!, simple changing these made my stick much better.....Except the DAMN X55 SQUEAK ISSUE Grrrrrr

Actually i did not use a swear word, it is a shortening of the word 'cockeyed' and was not meant as a swear word and intended no offence to anyone!!!

It sounds like you haven't reduced your deadzone to zero.

I absolutely detest deadzone. It's something that was necessary 20 years ago when joysticks all relied on potentiometers. It has no value today with digital control systems and yet developers still insist on using it. Arcade game makers are generally the worst. Games like GTA, Battlefield always have a lot of deadzone by default. Star Citizen has arcade flight controls. When you see proper simulations like DCS series or FSX there is no deadzone by default.

Thanks for your reply. I had the custom settings selected but since a driver issue with the Hotas it has seemingly fudged all my bindings and when I selected the Saitek X52 stting the stick response was back to normal. I'll have to reset all those bindings again, cheers.
