x52pro mouse buttons in steamvr ???

So i just went into elite vr 2 days ago and found out the mouse buttons and stick from the x52pro do not work in steamvr ? so i just lost 2 buttons ? And i loved using the little stick for the turret on the scarab.
And i had a separate usb numbed for actions i know blindinly and that thing is also not being recognized anymore...
From googling i found out its darn near impossible it seams then i have no idea where u guys get all the controls form except use voiceattack...

Mine still works but, personally I hate the mouse stick. Do they work ok in windows i.e. can you move the mouse cursour around and get functionality from the number pad? Will it also not recognise them in settings when rebinding?

I'm lucky enough to have a 3D Connexion Spacepilot Pro which has loads of extra buttons and is perfect for the galaxy map.

I use an old Xbox gamepad for camera suite, menus and map navigation. Also using some easy to reach keyboard buttons (numpad 0 and enter, space, left/right CTRL etc) for non-essential things like lights, nightvision, ui panel toggle etc. IMO the X52 has more than enough buttons for basic flight control, weapons and targeting.

Suddenly it works again ... very finicky controls in vr :/ sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. have to close everything again and restart steam.

Do you run your X52 pro through a hub or directly connected to your PC? I had problems with power and buttons not working connecting directly to a PC and ended up getting a powered hub which solved those issues.
