Hardware & Technical X55 Faulty Thumb button (4 way switch lower of two)

HI guys just wanted to know if any of you have had the above issue with these joysticks as I have just had my first set I bought last july replaced on RMA (by the way I only have used them for a total of about 3 weeks 6 hours a day) and now the second NEW set have started having the same issue and this is under a week old!?

Ok the button in question is set to the next/previous target and use it a lot! with cycling targets. However surely a product this expensive (I have had all previous Saitek joysticks with NO issues) should be much more wearing than just ONE week!

I have sent Saitek an email regarding this issue as with the original cost of nearly £170 and the postage (I paid £27 royal mail to send the first set back, they didn't offer like some e-retailers a pick up service) and faced with another £27 maybe its time to get a full refund and up my cost to the Thrustmaster Warthog?

Is that the Castle hat switch?
Mine broke within 3 months, after a long period of email exchange with Saitek they advised me to return it to the web shop (Alternate.nl)

I could ship it to them postage free. After another 4 weeks I got the question do you want a replacement or your money back.
.
Because I liked the thruster joystick & switches I took the replacement, but now I’m regretting this decision.
Anyhow I’m now the proud owner of the Thrustmaster Warthog hotas.

I would suggest get the Thrustmaster Warthog hotas, I’m sorry I did not.
