Hardware & Technical X55 Rhino or Thrustmaster Warthog?

Hi folks.

I'm in the progress of upgrading my kit to get her ready for Occulus. One of the things that I'm going to change out now is the flightstick/throttle, which currently is a well-used X-52.

I'm kinda torn between the Warthog and the X-55. Is the price difference justified by quality?

Could anyone give me first hand impressions of both?

Cheers :)

Hello Zadren,
Quality wise the warthog wipes the floor with the x55.
You will need pedals since the stick doesn't have a twist option (thank God).

Plus, you can upgrade the warthog with the fssb r3 mod which will make it feel like a real f16 stick and make it the best stick on the market.

I read this plenty times before I actually bought the Warthog - but without paddles, since I prefer to stretch my legs when I play. And guess what? It works perfect without pedals since you can easy configure all buttons by yourself (also in ED).

So, I just placed the "Twist Option" on a cursor Button of the Stick (most of them goes into 4 directions) and the little thursters on a flexible button at the Throttle. Works perfect and I have to say the quality of the Warthog is Worthing the money!
