I must admit, I am jeleaous when I look at the options people have on PC when it comes to flight control systems.
I used to own the original F-16 cougar setup from thrustmaster.
Now, I wish I would have choices as well, but there is only the single hotas plastic bomber with questionable built quality, while at the same time TM has a proven precision technology with the TM-1600.
I said questionable, because when people already post videos of how they dismantle the entire joystick to clean and make it fully functional again, yeah well, does it not sound a little like buying a Ford?
Fix-Often-Repair-Daily.
I'd like to spend my time a different way.
Hence I wonder, with the next Xbox in the plans, Microsoft should really be showered daily by emails and demands from users to open up the platform to 3rd party hardware such as Logitech, TM etc. How hard can it be?
At the end of the day, it's just a Microsoft Box, and this restriction simply does not feel right, or is it just me?
