Xbox account linked to frontier store Paint jobs inbound?

Logged into elite this morning and was greeted with a message to link my account to the frontier store. Does this mean I can buy skins for ships now?

huh, I thought you had to link to agree to their terms of service and play...

Its a bug. Earlier, after a game crash and restart, I had to link my account with the game.
