Newcomer / Intro xbox controller not detected

how to setup xbox controller in Odissey ?? i try in setting but i can use the game only with K/M .....if i select any gamepad setting the game doesn t recognize it.
before with horizon i never have this problem.....
any solution?

I would try contacting the support.
Because it's very possible that as this is just a PC release and consoles are so far down the line, they didn't even think about implementing controller profiles.

You may still be able to bind everything manually in default profile, though. Worth a try.

I use a wired USB X Box controller for FSS and DSS. Probably half the time I boot my PC the X Box controller, while plugged in, is not recognized by Windows (10). A replug or two shakes it out of it's malaise. It happens so often that I never start Elite after a fresh boot without going in to game controllers and making sure it appears in the list. Not sure it's related, but worth a look as I reckon I don't have the only PC this happens on.

That's weird. If W10 sees it, the game should as well, and even if the profile was missing, it should see it as a "generic cntroller" and allow you to bind it manually.
I'd really run it through support, maybe. Even though they probably have their hands full right now.
